TENDER DESCRIPTION

The architecture should place value on clear structures, natural materials, and generous daylighting, and, for example, take into account features such as timber massive construction as a load-bearing and design element, alternatively timber hybrid construction, flexible room layouts for later usage options, and later expansion possibilities to include an additional group room. The building is to fit harmoniously into the largely level site and open up to the outdoor areas through direct access. In addition, the new construction is to meet high ecological and energy-related standards in the spirit of sustainability and energy efficiency, such as timber construction with CO2 storage, an extensively greened roof to improve the microclimate, and a photovoltaic system for generating electricity for own use. The design of the premises is to enable use by children of all age groups, from U2 to pre-school children. The local municipality of Ebertsheim therefore awards the structural engineering planning services for the construction of the childcare facility in accordance with § 73 VgV.
