TENDER DESCRIPTION
The University Hospital Leipzig intends to reconstruct the low-voltage main distribution board after fire damage in the Operative Center, building number 4241 (OPZ). The OPZ of the University Hospital Leipzig (UKL) is an existing building with a massive reinforced concrete skeleton structure and stiffening service cores. The OPZ is divided into two parts, Tower A and Tower B, which are accessed via staircases, visitor lifts, and patient lifts. On the ground floor, these two parts are connected by the mall, which serves as a covered atrium extending up to the second floor. On the ground floor and first floor, the two areas are also connected via wards and operating rooms and their corridors, but not generally accessible. The two basements and the fifth floor are primarily used for the technical supply of the hospital building. The above-ground floors (ground floor up to the fourth floor) accommodate the actual clinical operations with wards and administration. The operative center represents the core of the UKL.
