TENDER DESCRIPTION

The University Hospital Leipzig intends to carry out the construction of the low-voltage main distribution board after fire damage in the Operative Centre, building number 4241 (OPZ). The OPZ of the University Hospital Leipzig (UKL) is an existing building with a massive reinforced-concrete frame structure and stiffening access cores. The OPZ is divided into two parts, Tower A and Tower B, through which the floors are connected via staircases, visitor lifts and patient lifts. On the ground floor (GF), these two areas are connected via the mall, which extends as a covered lightwell up to the second floor. On the GF and 1st floor (1.OG), the two areas are also connected to each other via the stations/OPs and their corridors; however, they are not generally accessible. The two underground levels and the 5th floor are primarily used for the technical supply of the hospital building. On the above-ground floors (ground floor to 4th floor), the actual hospital operations take place with wards and administration. The Operative Centre is the heart of the UKL.
