TENDER DESCRIPTION

The district of Osnabrück intends to construct a 3-court sports hall with grandstand for up to 199 persons in Melle, including an additional training room and a spacious foyer. The Melle sports hall is a building with a correspondingly divisible 3-court hall with a hall area of approx. 27 x 46 m and an attached building structure of 1 or 2 storeys. The building is not basemented. On the ground floor there are the hall level, the associated changing and equipment rooms, and the open entrance foyer, training rooms and other ancillary areas. On the upper floor, essentially further foyer areas, grandstand seating, ancillary rooms and the plant/technical centre are located. The entire building will be constructed as a massive reinforced concrete and reinforced concrete frame structure, in combination of cast-in-place concrete and precast elements; these are partly designed as sandwich elements in the above-grade area. The external façade design is thereby divided into a massive closed plinth with visible-concrete precast elements and an upper façade, which is designed as a ventilated/curtain façade consisting of ceramic elements arranged vertically in different colours.
