TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Regionaltangente West (RTW) is a new tangential rail connection in the Rhine-Main area to improve local rail passenger transport in the Frankfurt am Main conurbation. It primarily serves to provide a better connection between the western districts of the City of Frankfurt am Main as well as the surrounding counties, towns and municipalities with one another and among one another, and to provide better access to Frankfurt Airport. The project is divided into the planning approval sections PFA North, PFA Central, as well as PFA South I and South II. The tender described here is located in planning approval section South 1. The South 1 planning approval decision is included with the tender documents and must be taken into account during construction. The subject of this tender comprises the following services: Construction of a single- and double-track track superstructure in accordance with EBO in the area from Mörfelder Landstraße to Bf Neu-Isenburg (km 0.1+00 to km 3.8+37) in planning approval section South 1, as well as the required infrastructural connections to the existing infrastructure of the lines 3650, 35651 and 3688 of DB InfraGO AG.
