TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contracting authority intends to commission a suitable contractor with construction and project controlling. Kiel Sports Facilities and Stadium Company mbH & Co KG (hereinafter referred to as “KSSG”) is the owner of the Holstein Stadium, the main user of which is Kieler Sportvereinigung Holstein von 1900 e.V. (hereinafter referred to as “KSV”) with its men’s team playing in the 2nd Bundesliga. For many years, efforts have been made to expand the sports venue into a modern stadium that complies with the statutes of Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH (hereinafter referred to as “DFL”). The aim is to create a long-term model for the construction and operation of the stadium that is financially self-sustaining. A modern football stadium is to be created that further increases the attractiveness of the sports location Kiel, takes into account the city’s climate protection and sustainability goals as well as the topics of diversity, inclusion and participation for people with disabilities.
