TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contracting authority intends to award a contract to a suitable contractor for construction and project controlling. Kieler Sportstätten- und Stadiongesellschaft mbH & Co KG (hereinafter referred to as KSSG) is the owner of the Holstein Stadium, whose main user is Kieler Sportvereinigung Holstein von 1900 e.V. (hereinafter referred to as “KSV”) with its men’s team in the 2. Bundesliga. For many years, efforts have been made to expand the sports venue into a modern stadium that complies with the statutes of Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH (hereinafter referred to as “DFL”). The aim is to create a long-term model for the construction and operation of the stadium that is financially self-sustaining. The goal is to create a modern football stadium that further increases the attractiveness of the Kiel sports location, takes into account the city’s climate protection and sustainability objectives as well as the topics of diversity, inclusion and participation for people with disabilities.
