TENDER DESCRIPTION

We hereby refer to the invitation to tender No. 2026005425, which has a similar type of procurement. At the HW Altglienicke site, the three identical hot-water generation plants HWE 3, 4 and 5 must be replaced with new plants that are almost identical in capacity, as a large hot-water boiler room design (in accordance with EN 12953). HWE 3 and 4 are currently still in operation; only HWE 5 has not been operated for several years and is permanently out of service. To ensure supply reliability at the site without endangering it or further restricting it, a step-by-step approach for replacing first HWE 5 and subsequently HWE 4 and then HWE 3 is absolutely necessary. The three hot-water generators to be newly constructed are to be connected to a newly to be constructed 3-draft chimney by means of new flue-gas ducts. For the installation and removal of the HWE, the existing flue-gas duct (for the most part built of masonry) is to be dismantled and the external wall of the boiler house is to be opened and, after completion of the works, closed again.
