TENDER DESCRIPTION

We hereby refer to tender notice No. 2026005415, which involves a similar procurement type. At the Köpenick CHP plant site, the two identical hot-water generating systems HWE 40 and HWE 50 must be replaced with new units with almost identical performance as a large hot-water space boiler design (in accordance with EN 12953). HWE 40 has been out of operation for several years, and currently only HWE 50 is still in operation, alongside HWE 30. In order not to endanger or further restrict supply security at the site, a step-by-step approach for replacing first HWE 40 and subsequently HWE 50 is mandatory. The two hot-water generators to be newly installed shall be connected again below the boiler house ceiling to the existing flue gas ducts. For the complete installation and removal of the HWE units, appropriately sized gate/door openings must be constructed. The scope of this tender fully comprises all services necessary to replace the hot-water generators described at the outset with new systems ready for operation.
