TENDER DESCRIPTION

The project requires complete re-planning of the technical equipment for the former church and the ancillary buildings, with the aim of climate neutrality in operation (general waiver of fossil energy sources). Special challenges of the project include, among other things, the fact that the MEP (technical building equipment) must be compatible with the existing outdated infrastructure in the first phase of operation, but in the long term it is to be integrated into a new cross-sector infrastructure (including district heating network, smart grid). Additional challenges lie in the prior damage to the church caused by a fire incident, the partly inadequate condition of preservation of the existing buildings, as well as the identified occurrences of pollutants and contamination. Parts of the church and the soil of the entire planning area are subject to (subsurface) monument protection, so that the planning and execution of services/utilities laid underground must be carried out in coordination with the specialist authorities.
