TENDER DESCRIPTION

The project requires complete re-planning of the technical equipment of the former church and the ancillary buildings with the aim of achieving climate neutrality in operation (general waiver of fossil energy sources). Special challenges of the project include, among other things, the fact that the building services (TGA) must be compatible in the first operating phase with the existing, outdated infrastructure, but in the long term is intended to be integrated into a new, cross-sector infrastructure (including, among other things, district heating network and smart grid). Additional challenges arise from the pre-damage to the church caused by a fire event, the partly inadequate condition of the existing buildings, as well as the identified occurrences of harmful substances and contaminations. Parts of the church as well as the soil of the entire planning area are subject to (subsurface) monument protection, so that the planning and execution of underground utility lines must be carried out in coordination with the competent specialist authorities.
