TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this invitation to tender is the redevelopment of the Weser promenade in Minden with extensive outdoor facilities works in the inner-city area along the Weser. The scope of services includes in particular paving and natural stone works, path construction, vegetation and planting works, site furnishing elements as well as the creation and adaptation of areas for staying and use. Special requirements arise from the inner-city location, the immediate proximity to the Weser and the quay wall, as well as from construction measures taking place in parallel. The work is carried out in sections and requires coordinated site logistics as well as close coordination with other contractors, specialist planners and the contracting authority. For the provision of the services, in particular an efficient site organization, the coordination of multiple construction sections and trades, as well as expert, technically correct and high-quality execution of the natural stone, paving and outdoor facilities works are required. There are also special requirements regarding traffic safety, site logistics, protection of existing vegetation and maintaining adjacent uses.
