Replacement of main engine drive units and replacement of the propulsion units of the MS Munot The propulsion concept with the propulsion units has remained unchanged since the ship was built in 1998 and is to be operated in this way. The complete propulsion systems (2) will be renewed. The engines to be used meet the current standards and approvals with regard to exhaust emissions. As part of these measures, further renewals are planned, such as replacing the main switchboard, new cables and the overhaul of the control stations. In addition, adjustments to ship systems will be made in accordance with the revised and current provisions of the Swiss Shipbuilding Ordinance AB-SBV.
