TENDER DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this tender is the contracting of the works New access points to the south expansion of the Port of Barcelona. Phase 2A, which consists in the construction of a new road junction that will allow the proper interconnection between the Port of Barcelona’s structural road network and the new access motorway to the port. This road junction, to be developed on the former mouth of the Llobregat River, will constitute the most important road infrastructure in the port and must be compatible with the important railway junction to be developed in the former riverbed. This road connection will consist of a large elevated roundabout with three branches, whose constraints are imposed by the railway infrastructure to be developed in that same location. This connection includes a connection with the new motorway, another connection with the South expansion, and a third connection that will allow access to the port facilities located to the north of the former mouth.
