TENDER DESCRIPTION

The project Mjölby Municipality intends to build a new care and nursing home in Eldslösa comprising 80 places including short-term care places, and is intended for older people with needs for care and nursing around the clock. The building is planned as two storeys with a total of eight departments, where each department includes approx. 10 apartments with associated common areas. The accommodation is designed with a focus on high accessibility, safety, a homelike environment, and good working conditions. Each apartment is to be fully equipped and contain its own hygiene room, kitchenette (pentry), and be adapted for care and lifting. Common functions include, among other things, a living room, dining room, and department kitchen(s), as well as access to balconies or outdoor patios. In addition to the accommodation parts, the building includes shared public functions such as a main entrance with lobby, assembly hall/conference room, training kitchen, gym, visiting toilets, and a catering kitchen sized for approx. 100 portions.
