TENDER DESCRIPTION
Hjørring Vandselskab wishes to future-proof the water supply for consumers in Hjørring. There is a need to establish a waterworks that, with a large production capacity, flexibility, and the possibility of expansion, can ensure drinking water for many years to come. The waterworks must replace the existing waterworks at Horne (Hirtshals Waterworks Vest), which is currently facing major renovations and modernisations, in order to bring it to a level that is both up to date and can guarantee future supply security. The new waterworks will be located in the northern half of property no. 6s Skibsby By, Skt. Olai, which is owned by Hjørring Vandselskab. In connection with the project, a local plan has been prepared for the site. The present tender comprises engineering design and the execution of a new waterworks under a turnkey contract (total contract), including the building, water treatment facilities, mechanical installations, electrical and SCADA (SRO) installations, as well as associated technical installations and pipeline works within the contract boundaries described in the tender materials.
