Structural and structural engineering design of the Saalebrücke The Saalebrücke bridge on the BAB A 72 near Hof is an arch bridge constructed from natural stone masonry in the years 1937 to 1940. Due to the structural condition of the prestressed concrete superstructures, these are to be replaced by steel composite superstructures, so that it will be possible to dispense with the weigh beams in future.
