TENDER DESCRIPTION

At the site of the Wilhelm-von-Oranien-School (WvO) in Dillenburg, the four-court sports hall (Nassau-Oranien-Halle) was built in the 1980s on Mühlenstraße, at the corner of Hof-Feldbach-Straße. Due to its intensive use as a sports hall, including for more than 1,200 students of the WvO as well as other school and extracurricular bookings (for example by nearby clubs or disaster protection), the sports hall has a fundamental and energy-related need for renovation. Renovation of the sports hall is intended to ensure child-appropriate physical education at the school site in Dillenburg. In addition, many clubs should continue to be able to use the hall outside school hours in order to ensure the sports benefit as well. The range of clubs differentiated by sport and age represents an important social component for the city and beyond. In addition, higher energy efficiency is to be pursued through the renovation and, if possible, the installation of photovoltaic systems is also intended for sustainable operation of the building.
