TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this procurement procedure is the awarding of services for interior design planning for the new building of the "Future Workshop" of the Vocational Training Center Euskirchen as the contracting authority. The Vocational Training Center Euskirchen is a qualification institution in the Aachen economic area, which aims to support structural change in the region through suitable qualification measures and to promote it by establishing model concepts. The Future Workshop BZE is intended to become an innovative educational location (new building) for supplementary initial and continuing training in the manufacturing industry, particularly in crafts. The plot area is approximately 15,000 m²; the gross floor area of the new building is approximately 10,000 m² in three buildings each with two floors; the net production costs (work groups 200 to 700) are expected to amount to approximately EUR 69 million. Completion is planned for autumn 2029. The necessary funds are currently expected to be provided predominantly through grants.
