TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this procurement procedure is the award of interior design planning services for the new building of the "Future Workshop" of the Berufsbildungszentrum Euskirchen as contracting authority. The Berufsbildungszentrum Euskirchen is a qualification institution in the Aachen economic region that aims to support the structural change in the region through appropriate qualification measures and to promote it by establishing model concepts. The Future Workshop BZE is intended to become an innovative educational location (new building) for supplementary initial and advanced training in the manufacturing industry, especially in crafts. The site area is approximately 15,000 m²; the gross floor area of the new building is approximately 10,000 m² across three buildings, each with two floors; the estimated net construction costs (cost groups 200 to 700) amount to approximately EUR 69 million. Completion is planned for autumn 2029. The necessary funds are currently expected to be provided predominantly through grants.
