Extension of the Max-Planck-Gymnasium, Weinbergerstr. 29, 81241 Munich Award of services for property planning pursuant to § 34 HOAI, LPH 6-9 for the The Max-Planck-Gymnasium built in the 1960s is to be extended during ongoing school operations and an additional sports hall is to be newly built. For this purpose, building parts of the existing school, as well as detached pavilion structures that are no longer in operation, must be demolished (a demolition planner has been engaged). The gymnasium has been placed under monument protection together with the building parts that are to be retained during the planning of the extension. Funding under BEG is being applied for the construction project. On the northern grass sports field, an interim pavilion with specialist classrooms and a cafeteria (mensa) has just been completed as a replacement for the buildings to be demolished and in order to continue school operations during the construction phase (limited period of use; continued use by another school after completion of the extension is planned).
