As part of a comprehensive maintenance measure, the A73 is to be expanded to the currently applicable standard cross-section RQ 31 in accordance with RAA so that, among other things, a 4+0 traffic flow can be ensured for future construction measures. In addition, the route section is to be checked for compliance with regulations and, if applicable, for any route-planning-related deficiencies in plan and profile in accordance with the RAA, as well as with regard to the superstructure in accordance with RStO 12 (deficiency analysis) and to be planned/rectified accordingly. As part of the maintenance measure, the existing noise protection must be checked both in terms of location and height. Any demolition and renewal measures, both as a noise barrier, as a wall, and as combinations of noise barrier and wall, are to be taken into account accordingly in the planning.
