TENDER DESCRIPTION

A. Electrical protections: The outgoing ROP units in the entire 400 kV R400 switchyard (including KSP, T402_400, T403_400, V426, V427 and V447) and the central 400 kV ROP unit will be replaced. The protections will be installed in the existing switchgears. Cabling will be affected only to the necessary extent. The terminal blocks in the switchgears will remain in place; the internal wiring of the switchgear will be replaced to an appropriate extent. Circuit-breakers and auxiliary relays will be replaced (in existing plug-in bases). The outgoing ROP units and the central ROP unit will be connected to the TIS using new patchcords. The new patchcords will also be used for communication between the outgoing ROP units and the central unit. A switch for interrupting the tripping impulses will be added. The switch will be signalled to the RIS. The scope of the protections includes all communication elements for communication between the outgoing ROP units and the central unit, supplied by the protection supplier, including the necessary cabling.
