Obnovní management lokalit PP Za mlýnem, PP Hvězda a Mokřad za Hvězdou

TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the public contract is restoration management at 2 sites in the Litovelské Pomoraví Protected Landscape Area (CHKO Litovelské Pomoraví). The first site is PP Za mlýnem, the second site is PP Hvězda and the adjacent Mokřad za Hvězdou. The management is planned for the years 2026–2029, i.e. for a period of just under 3.5 years. These are areas where tree felling took place in 2025–2026. First, stumps and stump shoots (including sprout regrowth) of trees felled earlier will be removed once-off. This will make the areas accessible for mowing. Depending on vegetation development, in the individual years the shoots of trees felled earlier will be mown first, then ruderal vegetation colonising the cleared areas, and finally re-establishing vegetation of grass-herb communities of alluvial meadows. Part of the areas where felling took place is not intended for the restoration of meadow habitats, but for so-called “coppicing”. In these areas, in the last year there will be a one-off trimming of mature coppice shoots. All planned interventions will be carried out, including removal of the resulting biomass.
