TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Provisions Storehouse forms part of the historic complex of fortifications of La Almina, declared a BIC under the Monument category. It is one of the remaining elements of La Almina’s fortification and its function was to serve as storage and logistics for the entire enclave. The Provisions Storehouse is located at the eastern end of the northern sector of the La Almina Complex. The wall line of this section would run just to the north of this construction, with the Provisions Battery located at its level. The purpose of the project is the rehabilitation and adaptation of the historic Ceuta Provisions Storehouse in order to incorporate two new cultural facilities: the Military Museum on the ground floor and the City General Archive on the first floor. The intervention seeks to preserve and enhance the existing architecture while, at the same time, ensuring the functional and environmental needs of both uses. On the ground floor, the Military Museum is organized into public and work areas.
