TENDER DESCRIPTION

Execution Project for the pending re-vegetation works around the mortuary chapel. It is the intention of this City Council to act in the area of Avinguda de la Catalana and the descent to the Besòs river park between Ronda del Barcelonès and the mortuary chapel, improving accessibility and linking the green and blue infrastructure. The action is intended for the area to be a “structuring green axis”. The original works were started in August 2025 after the signing of the inspection record for the replanning. Subsequently, the contract was subject to a modification and two extensions, with the completion date set as 22 May 2026. Upon reaching this date, the Technical Management stated that the works had not been completed, resulting in a contractual breach and the abandonment of the works by the awarded contractor, which led to the initiation of the contract termination resolution proceedings.
