TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the contract is the purchase of 230 protective ballistic helmets with accessories (hereinafter referred to as the “helmet”). The helmets are intended for members of the Corps of the Prison and Justice Guard assigned to intervention groups for the purpose of performing service duties, including escort activities under enhanced security measures. The helmet is intended to ensure protection of the wearer’s head against the effects of firing from short firearms in a specified class of ballistic resistance, as well as against the effects of secondary fragments and mechanical stress. All materials used that may come into direct contact with the skin must be safe for human health and must not cause adverse effects. A detailed description of the subject of the contract, i.e. the technical specification, forms part of the tender documents.
