TENDER DESCRIPTION

Protection and maintenance of the natural values of old-growth trees in a historic manor park in Rusowo The subject of the contract is the performance of activities within the scope of active nature protection by carrying out specialist arboricultural procedures within the area of the old-growth trees of the historic manor park in Rusowo. The scope of work includes 144 trees indicated in the dendrological inventory, for which only two types of procedures have been provided: CP-S – care and sanitary pruning and CP-W – care and veteranization pruning. These designations have been assigned to individual trees in the inventory and define the scope of necessary work for each specimen. Care and sanitary pruning (CP-S) includes the removal of deadwood and dead, damaged or diseased parts of the tree crowns in order to improve their health condition and safety. Care and veteranization pruning (CP-W) is intended to preserve the natural values of the old-growth trees by shaping features characteristic of veteran trees and by creating and maintaining valuable microhabitats that constitute habitats for many organisms.
