TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this public procurement is the selection of an operator for the management of the facility for sorting separately collected municipal waste in Slavonski Brod, intended for receiving, sorting, mechanical processing, temporary storage and preparation for recovery of separately collected recyclable municipal waste. The sorting plant is intended for processing paper and cardboard, plastic, metal, glass and other recyclable waste fractions collected in the area of the City of Slavonski Brod. The operation of the sorting plant will contribute to increasing the recycling rate, reducing the quantities of waste intended for disposal, and achieving national and European circular economy objectives. Separately collected paper, cardboard, plastic, metal, glass and other recyclable waste will be delivered to the sorting plant for additional sorting, for increasing the purity of individual fractions and for preparation for recycling. After the sorting process, the separated fractions will be handed over to authorized processors and recyclers, thereby increasing the use of secondary raw materials and the efficiency of the waste management system.
