TENDER DESCRIPTION
As a rule, the odorization systems are housed in separate rooms (Ex-zone 1) within the gas pressure regulating station building. In a few cases, no room is available, so an outdoor cabinet must be mounted on the existing building. Due to the system and network structure at EWE NETZ, many small, decentralized odorization systems are used. All systems have stationary containers as well as dosage quantity monitoring. At EWE NETZ, the dosing of the odorant is basically gas volume dependent. Volume gas meters are installed in every gas pressure regulating station equipped with an odorization system. The pulses per Nm³ are transmitted to the remote control system and then to the odorization system control. The dosing quantity depends on the pulse-based pump stroke frequency as well as the pump stroke volume.
