TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of procurement is the performance of routine and extraordinary maintenance works on non-categorised roads. Maintenance of non-categorised roads means a set of measures and activities carried out throughout the year on non-categorised roads, including all equipment, devices and installations, for the purpose of maintaining road passability and technical correctness and traffic safety on them (routine maintenance), as well as partial improvement of road elements at specific locations, ensuring road and road-structure safety and durability and increasing traffic safety (extraordinary maintenance), in accordance with the regulations governing road maintenance. The Bidder undertakes that, for the works at each individual location for which it receives an order from the Contracting Authority, it will access the site no later than within 24 hours upon the Contracting Authority’s call. If the Contracting Authority determines that the work is urgent and directly affects the safety of road users, the Bidder is obliged to respond and access the site within one hour (e.g. repairing a traffic light light, installing a STOP sign...).
