TENDER DESCRIPTION

The construction project involves a newly built school building that is to be classified as a structural facility of a special type or use (special-purpose building). Under building law, the building is to be classified as building class 5. The building is planned as a hybrid timber construction; only the components that serve for horizontal bracing are planned in reinforced concrete. The timber load-bearing structure is planned as a skeletal frame structure, and the intermediate floors are planned as timber rib construction and consist of main beams that run in the east-west direction, as well as a cross-laminated timber floor slab (CLT). Adjacent to the building site there is already a school, consisting of a main building, pavilions, a cafeteria / Ottoneum and a sports hall. The aging ensemble is to be abandoned and replaced by the new construction on the building plot located to the east of the school.
