TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Defence has several activities in the Arctic, including in Greenland and in the Faroe Islands, which continuously lead to a need to procure advisory services, in particular within the environmental field. Past and present activities may, for example, have caused pollution, for which the Defence is responsible for investigating and assessing the risk of. The Defence is also responsible for ensuring that both future and present activities do not pose a risk to the environment, nature and people staying at the sites. There may therefore also be a need for clean-up or for preventing/mitigating pollution. In connection with the activities in the Arctic, the Defence therefore needs external advisory services within, among other things, the environment and nature, in particular with regard to handling soil and groundwater contamination and industrial environmental conditions, and to a lesser extent within the construction and civil engineering technical area, to the extent it concerns environmental matters.
