TENDER DESCRIPTION

Helsingør Kraftvarmeværk A/S (HØK) shall purchase a sulphur granulate dosing system that is to be built into and integrated into the existing fuel and boiler plant. The sulphur granulate dosing system itself shall be placed in a newly constructed building in which volume has been allocated for the machine itself and for storage functions separately. The overall project consists of a mechanical engineering part, a building engineering part, and adaptation of the existing plant. This procurement includes the purchase of the mechanical engineering part, which among other things includes delivery and installation of the sulphur dosing system. Adding sulphur to the fuel is a known method by which problems with slag formation can be reduced. The sulphur dosing system will thereby reduce slag formation and thus increase operational efficiency, reduce the need for operational shutdowns, improve the working environment, and ensure better control of the plant’s emissions. The project therefore has both operational, working environment, and environmental significance.
