TENDER DESCRIPTION

Vejen Municipality – hereinafter referred to as the Contracting Authority – is Tendering its need for reception and treatment of incinerable waste. This tender concerns the reception and treatment of incinerable waste from households and businesses located in Vejen Municipality to an environmentally approved reception facility. The incinerable waste is divided into residual waste from citizens in Vejen Municipality, small and shredded combustible waste from the municipality's recycling stations, as well as possibly from businesses located in Vejen Municipality. The estimated quantity of the waste is approximately 7,000 tons of incinerable waste per year. In 2025, the amounts were distributed as follows: • Residual waste from households 4393 tons • Small combustible waste from recycling stations 1675 tons • Large shredded combustible waste from recycling stations 932 tons There may be seasonal fluctuations in the amount of waste. The stated quantities and percentage distribution are therefore indicative and based on historical figures, and cannot be taken as a guarantee for future turnover volume.
