TENDER DESCRIPTION

“Schaddel” is the KVG on-demand transport service, i.e., the On-Demand Service (ODS), for night-time traffic. The on-demand transport service “Schaddel” is an established, digital and fully electric public transport offering of KVG in the city of Kassel. It is operated as a completely timetable-free and flexible service with its own fare and special carriage conditions. In night-time traffic, “Schaddel” is used as a supplement and to close gaps in the conventional public transport service within the urban area and serves the period from 22:00 to a maximum of 6:00. The specified service times, which must not be undershot, are daily from 22:00 to 05:00, with variations for Saturday and Sunday: on Saturday mornings the service time extends to 05:30 and on Sunday mornings it extends to 06:00. Travel with “Schaddel” takes place between certain predefined boarding and alighting points (virtual stops) within a defined service area (city area of Kassel) and at predefined service times.
