TENDER DESCRIPTION
"Schaddel" is KVG’s on-demand transport service, i.e. the on-demand service (ODS), for night-time traffic. The on-demand service "Schaddel" is an already established, digital and fully electric public transport service of KVG in the city of Kassel. It is operated as a completely timetabled-free and flexible service with its own fare and special conditions of carriage. In night-time traffic, "Schaddel" is used as an addition and to close gaps in the conventional public transport network within the city area and operates during the period from 22:00 to a maximum of 6:00. The defined operating times that may not be undercut are daily from 22:00 to 05:00, with deviations for Saturday and Sunday: on Saturday mornings, the operating period extends until 05:30 and on Sunday mornings, it extends until 06:00. Transportation with "Schaddel" takes place between certain, defined boarding and alighting points (virtual stops) within a defined operating area (Kassel city area) and at defined operating times.
