TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contract concerns various forms of strategic and independent ICT advisory services, including unlimited access to standard research reports (including toolkits, templates, checklists,…) for the C-function and one staff member, sourcing strategies for cloud services and software, including benchmarking and best practices, participation in network events (information and networking) and unlimited access to analysts for the C-function and one staff member, together with corresponding independent strategic advisory services tailored to needs. The deployment of independent strategic ICT advisory services is desirable and increasingly necessary for modern ICT operations and evolution within a large and complex organization such as UGent. The ICT environment is characterized by a high level of technological change (including cloud transitions, digitization of core processes, cybersecurity challenges and evolving software ecosystems), increasing dependence on external suppliers and a growing need for well-founded, forward-looking strategic choices.
