TENDER DESCRIPTION

NS is looking for a collaboration partner for a multi-year research and innovation programme aimed at shaping future-proof physical fitters’ work within NS Onderhoud & Service (O&S), with an initial focus on maintenance company (OB) Leidschendam and on work that is heavy and physically demanding. The assignment is an integrated, cyclical innovation approach in which analysis, co-creation, design, prototyping, pilots, impact measurement, evaluation, scaling up, and knowledge retention are inextricably linked. In this regard, we are not only looking for a partner who conducts research, but also for a party that enables NS to independently build a repeatable innovation approach after the collaboration has ended, which NS can later apply itself at other maintenance locations. The assignment must result in more attractive employer branding for fitters, less physical strain, more job satisfaction, higher long-term employability, and better productivity.
