The subject of this notice is the approval of companies as distributors for the openDesk ecosystem within the scope of an open approval system. openDesk is an open-source office and collaboration suite. The suite bundles, in a web-based environment, in particular functions for document editing, file and knowledge management, for e-mail, calendar, contacts, chat, video conferences, project and task management, as well as identity and access management. The openDesk portfolio consists of software components from various component manufacturers and the openDesk integration layer. ZenDiS is responsible for assembling, further developing and packaging the portfolio and sets quality, security and interoperability standards. The approved distributors form the sales stage between ZenDiS, or the components of the openDesk portfolio, and the downstream network of IT partners. Based on the package configurations specified by ZenDiS, they compile combinations of individual software components into bundles, design time-limited subscription offers from these, and market them through the IT partners included in their partner network.
