TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Federal Agency for Real Estate Tasks (BImA) plans the realization and operation of a multifunctional office development for ministerial purposes on the former Postblock area, the section of the so-called "Postblock North" in Berlin-Mitte. The main objectives of the measure are to implement an appealing architecture with appropriate qualities, to meet the space and area requirements, as well as to comply with BImA specifications for sustainability, accessibility, and technical building equipment. As part of this Europe-wide tendering procedure, BImA as the contracting authority is seeking a highly qualified private contractor for planning, construction, and subsequent operation of the construction project subject to the call for tenders. In the event of award, both operational services of technical facility management (TFM) and those of infrastructural facility management (IFM) are to be provided for a period of 25 years after commissioning; IFM includes only cleaning and maintenance services of the building, external facilities, as well as winter services.
