TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this contract is the execution of the construction project “Optimization and electrification of the České Velenice railway line (excluding) – Veselí nad Lužnicí (excluding) – Infrastructure”.The investment project “Optimization and electrification of the České Velenice railway line (excluding) – Veselí nad Lužnicí (excluding)” aims at the overall reconstruction and electrification of the railway section České Velenice – Veselí nad Lužnicí, which will bring higher line speeds and increased safety for rail and road transport, and furthermore the minimisation of operating costs for ŽDC. Another objective of the construction is the optimisation of the scope of the infrastructure. This involves the reconstruction of the track superstructure (rails, points/switches) and the railway substructure, culverts and bridges. New platforms 550 mm above top of the track (TK) will be built, as well as the OCS/traction power (TV) (AC system 25 kV 50 Hz), low-voltage (NN) and high-voltage (VN) power supply, new communications (cabling, public address, DŘT, ...) and signalling and safety equipment.
