TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this contract is the construction of the “Optimisation and electrification of the České Velenice (excluding) – Veselí nad Lužnicí (excluding) railway line – Infrastructure”.The investment project “Optimisation and electrification of the České Velenice (excluding) – Veselí nad Lužnicí (excluding) railway line” aims at the comprehensive reconstruction and electrification of the railway section České Velenice – Veselí nad Lužnicí, which will increase line speed and improve the safety of rail and road transport, and further reduce the operating costs of ŽDC. Another objective of the project is to optimise the scope of the infrastructure. This involves reconstruction of the track superstructure (rails, turnouts) and the railway substructure, culverts and bridges. New platforms 550 mm above the running track will be built, as well as TV (AC 25kV 50 Hz system), NN and VN power supply, new communications (cabling, public address, DŘT, ...) and signalling and safety equipment.
