TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contractor (AN) carries out an annual analysis of the technical building equipment (TGA) in 10 schools of the City of Cologne to identify potential for energy savings. For each site, the AN performs an inventory of the TGA systems (KG 410, 420, 430, 480) including on-site inspections and photographic documentation. Subsequently, a visual inspection and functional testing of the TGA systems are carried out using trend data, and compliance with the City of Cologne’s energy guidelines is checked. The AN analyses and optimizes control loops. Short-term measures that can be implemented without investment, such as adjusting operating times and setpoints, are implemented independently by the AN after approval by the client (AG). In addition, the AN checks the retrofit feasibility of LoRaWAN temperature sensors in heating circuits without a reference-room temperature sensor. All measures are assessed for each site with regard to energy-saving potential, payback period and priority, documented in a report, and presented to the AG at an on-site appointment.
