TENDER DESCRIPTION

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE The Wellbeing Services County of Southwest Finland (hereinafter “VARHA”) organises a tender competition for the procurement of a total production solution for laboratory tests and, through this request for participation, asks operators interested in the procurement to participate in the tender competition, which will be carried out by way of a negotiated procedure as described in more detail below. SUBJECT OF THE PROCUREMENT The procurement aims to renew the automation system of the Emergency and Automation Laboratory of Tyks Kanta-Häme Hospital (including a two-way automation line and pre- and post-analytical stages), to which chemistry and immunochemistry analytics are attached. In addition, the procurement will renew HbA1c analytics, chemistry and immunochemistry analytics for the Tyks Salo Hospital laboratory, and chemistry analytics for the Tyks Loimaa and Vakka-Suomi hospitals. The procurement also includes, as a mandatory option, infection serology tests listed in the attachment “Requirements for the test menu and method specifications”, analysed using the Emergency and Automation Laboratory’s automation system.
