TENDER DESCRIPTION

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE The Wellbeing Services County of Southwest Finland (hereinafter “VARHA”) organises a tender procedure for the contract for a total production solution for laboratory tests and, with this request to participate, asks operators interested in the contract to participate in the tender procedure, which is carried out as a negotiated procedure as described in greater detail below. SUBJECT OF THE PROCUREMENT The procurement aims to renew the automation system of the Tyks Kantas Hospital Emergency and Automation Laboratory (including a two-way automation line as well as pre- and post-analytical stages), to which chemistry and immunochemistry analytics are linked. In addition, the procurement renews HbA1c analytics, the chemistry and immunochemistry analytics of the laboratory of the Tyks Salo hospital, as well as the chemistry analytics of the Tyks Loimaa and Vakka-Suomi hospitals. The contract also includes, as a mandatory option, infection serology tests listed in the attachment “Requirements for the test menu and method specifications”, analysed using the automation system of the Emergency and Automation Laboratory.
