TENDER DESCRIPTION

The procurement concerns the contracting of a building services (M&E) contractor for the implementation of the building services (M&E) package of Malmi’s new hospital, family centre and health and wellbeing centre as part of the project’s alliance organisation. The building services contractor operates in cooperation with other project parties and is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of the project’s technical building services solutions, both during the development phases and during the implementation phase. The new building will be erected in connection with the existing Malmi hospital (Talvelantie 6), and it is intended to be completed in stages by 2035. Malmi’s new hospital is a hospital that promotes rehabilitation, where patients who particularly require acute geriatric and surgical follow-up care are treated. Approximately 200 new inpatient places will be provided. The hospital area will also take into account a possible future expansion reserve. A versatile therapy centre promoting rehabilitation is planned in connection with the hospital, where, among other things, rehabilitation robotics will be centralised.
