TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Oulu requests your APPLICATION FOR PARTICIPATION for the contract in the title. This procurement covers the basic refurbishment of the Oulu Music Centre. The form of contract for the project is a Co-operative Design and Build contract (abbreviation SR), in which the SR contractor acts as the main contractor for the project. The SR contractor is responsible for the project design and contract performance in accordance with the procurement documents. By co-operation is meant a contract and implementation model in which the contracting authority and service providers jointly assume responsibility for the project design, construction, schedules, costs and quality and share the project risks and opportunities in accordance with the agreement to be used in the project. Contractually separate phases (development and implementation phases), grounds for compensation (commercial model), allocation of responsibilities and other co-operation, e.g. in practical arrangements, are characteristic of co-operation.
