TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Oulu requests your APPLICATION FOR PARTICIPATION for the contract described under the title. This procurement comprises the basic renovation of the Oulu Music Centre. The contract form for the project is a Co-operative Design and Build contract (abbreviation CD), in which the CD contractor acts as the lead contractor for the project. The CD contractor is responsible for the project’s design and contract performance in accordance with the procurement documents. Co-operation refers to a contract and delivery model in which the contracting authority and service providers are jointly responsible for the project’s design, construction, schedules, costs and quality, and share the project’s risks and opportunities in accordance with the contract to be used in the project. Contractual features characteristic of co-operation include separate contractual phases (development phase and execution phase), grounds for compensation (commercial model), allocation of responsibilities, as well as other co-operation, e.g. in practical arrangements.
