TENDER DESCRIPTION

BACKGROUND Real Estate Company Paloheina Service Centre (hereinafter the “Contracting Authority”) manages and maintains the property at Paloheinaintie 22, 00670 Helsinki, where the Paloheina Service Centre located on the premises includes, among other things, the Paloheina health centre, a maternity and child health clinic, a dental clinic, and the Paloheina Library. The property has been found to have acute repair needs, for which a pre-assessment for refurbishment (needs assessment) is currently underway. The project planning phase for the refurbishment is currently being initiated. The acute repair needs of the property are related, among other things, to • HVAC systems; • the roof gutters and downpipes of the roof; • coating materials for façade elements, joints/seams, and concrete damage caused by corrosion of reinforcing steel bars; • wall structures in the plant rooms for HVAC systems; • windows and doors; • suspended ceilings in interior spaces; and • general lighting indoors and outdoors.
